Five Blogging Websites

I don't have personal experience with all of these, but a friend asked about them, so here goes.

5. Tumblr: This isn't really blogging, so I'm not sure how much this counts.
4. BlogSome: I don't really like this one, but it produces good results. It feels like an uglier rip-off of Blogger, which is why I'm not ever entirely satisfied.
3. LiveJournal: I heard that this is a good blogging site, but more writing-based than interest based.
2. Wordpress: My friends use this, so it can't be that hard to use. It's more block-y than Blogger, but it's more official-looking, too.
1. Blogger: Obviously, since both of my blogs are based here, this is what I prefer. The colors, the format, and the choice of simplicity or complexity make it ideal for inexperienced bloggers.

Six Things To Do With Old Nail Polish

I have some bottles of nailpolish that I'm never ever going to wear again. I'm saving them for my little sister now, since I guess when she's like seven or something that she'll like the Smurfy blue or lime green. However for those without little siblings, voila!

6. Paint a little on the end of fraying shoelaces. Its stickiness will create a makeshift aglet. Plus, it'll look cool, especially with Converse or Vans.
5. Paint it over screws to prevent rusting.
4. Use them to mark toothbrushes. My dad and I have the same color toothbrush, except now mine has a blue dot on it.
3. Use them to draw pictures, cause that's fun!
2. Use them to label jars and stuff with the color.
1.  Use them for parties or for ceramics, or anything that you can use nail polish remover on! Go crazy! :D

Seven Silly Quotes on Friendship

"Friends are the bacon bits in the salad bowl of life."

7. A.A. Milne, from Winnie the Pooh: “If you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day so I never have to live without you.”
6. Marlene Dietrich: “It's the friends you can call up at 4 a.m. that matter.”
5. Aristotle: “What is a friend? A single soul dwelling in two bodies.”
4. Charles Dickens: "There is nothing better than a friend, unless it is a friend with chocolate."
3. Groucho Marx: "When you're in jail, a good friend will be trying to bail you out. A best friend will be in the cell next to you saying, 'Damn, that was fun.'"
2. Bernard Meltzer: "A true friend is someone who thinks that you are a good egg even though he knows that you are slightly cracked."
1. Mencius: "Friends are the siblings God never gave us."

Five Astounding Professions

5. Fortune Cookie Writer: Make it sound awesome without using a worn out concept. A challenge after the first three successful "Happiness will come with the next big storm." types.
4. Worm Picker: Get on your hands in knees in muddy areas during rainy days to put worms in a bucket so someone can go fishing. I think I'd rather be a cop, thank you.
3. Chicken Sexer: No, no, not that kind. Heads out of the gutter, young grasshoppers. They look up the butts of chicks (since reproductive organs are internal) and determine said chicks' sexes.
2. Cheese Sprayer: Spray cheese or butter on popcorn! Yummy!
1. Odd News Journalist: Okay, so I want to be a journalist. The whole odd news thing amuses me but it is a disgrace to the name of journalism! ... But it's funny. :)

The friend whom I've probably mentioned in  prior list bugged me into writing this. Really, I'm hitting Publish at 1:08 am on Monday, July 9th, but it's Saturday/Sunday's post. Dang it, I thought I could get away with neglecting this blog from my one reader. :)

Eight delicious desserts

Summer time!
8. Soda floats: I'm a Coca Cola girl, but with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, any soda will do.
7. Pie: Not cold, but tasty nonetheless
6. Almond Milk: So it isn't a conventional dessert. I always have this after dinner!
5. Gelato: Not fatty enough for my taste, and too lukewarm
4. Peach Cobbler: And other pie-like things. Yum.
3. Ice Cream: Classic creaminess that everyone loves.
2. Italian Ice: Super cold and crisp!
1. Popsicles: After-practice or after-dinner snacking. Cools you down and gives you lots of sugar!

What I'd really like to try is "grunts." Apparently, it's like cobbler except better...
